"Don't Worry Darling" star Harry Styles shares how the fans have helped him be his true self and the contrast between making music and acting.
I'm incredibly grateful to uh the people
who've supported me in my life and the
fans, in particular, have always provided
me with a place to kind of be me
and feel comfortable doing so and express
I and I get to make the kind of
music that I want to make
and I know that's because of their support and
the environment they've created for me
so I would like to hope that um I can
kind of give that same space back to
them
but that's all I can really help
for I mean personally I find them to be
kind of uh opposite in a lot of ways
I think making music is a really
personal thing
I think there's
effects of acting where you're obviously
drawing from maybe experiences you've
had and stuff
but I think for the most
the part you know you're pretending to play
someone else
I think that's kind of what is what I
find the most fun about it it's you
know playing pretend and just uh kind of
exploring different things
I think they can Aid each other in a way I think
anytime you get to view the world
through a different lens for a moment
it can help with creativity whichever
way it goes, yeah I find them to be really different
I think you know I think the fun part is you
never feel like you know what you're
doing in either of them
um music I've done a little bit longer
so that feeling is a little more
comfortable but what I like about acting
is I feel like I have no idea what I'm
doing and its question
