From March 19 to 22, IBM will hold the IBM
think 2018 conference, a global event that will bring together more than 40000
high-tech enthusiasts.
The theme of the conference will cover many hot topics
such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and the Internet of things, with
the aim of "making the business world smarter"
In this event, IBM will give their prediction
of the technology development in the next five years, and answer questions
about innovation in new technologies and how these innovations will affect our
lives.
These five technical predictions include crypto anchors, quantum
computing, hacking, AI bias, and AI microscopes.

5. AI Microscope
By 2025, more than half of the world's population will live in areas with water scarcity, so scientists are trying to
collect data to avoid this. But even specialized sensors that detect water and
chemicals will not be able to predict unexpected situations.
The detection of plankton is an effective way
to sense the health of water, but because of their microsize, it is difficult
to study these organisms.
IBM researchers are building small, autonomous,
artificial intelligence robotic microscopes that can monitor plankton, better
understand their behavior, and how they respond to environmental changes, and
predict water supply threats.
The microchip of the microscope can capture the
shadow of plankton to produce a healthy digital sample without focusing.
In the next five years, these microscopes
will be advanced enough to analyze and interpret data locally and in real time.
